There is a deep commitment in God’s heart to continually draw His own people back to Himself. It is no secret that, on our own, we are prone to wander and quick to drift away from God’s ways. Our love can grow dim. When we drift or grow dim, we tend to look to other places to satisfy our spiritual hungers. Sadly, we learn the hard lesson that only God can satisfy those desires.
